Retail Design

I have almost a decade of experience designing for two, boutique small firms. As a young designer at S+PBA, as one of three architects, I was given the responsibility for leading the design of art galleries, condominiums, homes, office buildings and speculative projects for international exhibitions. The final project I managed, which I called “Wetropolis,” received international acclaim, was exhibited at the AEDES gallery in Berlin, was published in sundry design magazines and webzines, and was a finalist for the Zumtobel awards. After three years, I left S+PBA to join AND Design, another innovative atelier founded by a friend and colleague at Chulalongkorn University. As a studio co-director, we designed restaurants, showrooms, exhibitions, homes and educational facilities. Most notably, we received the commission to design the top-rated restaurant in Asia, Gaggan—a molecular gastronomy Indian restaurant.
